Social Services:

             Understand programs and services provided by the state (DHS) as well as by the not-for-profit sector
               that are intended to ensure heathy development for all youth, address child abuse and neglect, adequacy
               of foster care services, adequacy of adoption service, and relieve hardships associated with poverty.

             Identify proven interventions that reduce incidences of family violence, detect and prevent abuse, break
               the cycle of violence, or find safe living alternatives for victims.

             Identify strategies to assist troubled adolescents, but not limited to; adolescent pregnancy, substance
               abuse, runaway youth and educational/employment deficits.

Economic Development:

             Understand the role of economic growth in the quality of life of Oklahomans.

             Identify factors that contribute to and detract from economic development in Oklahoma including
                geography, sectors, available skills and education systems and networks of companies.
