The goals for the final Class XXIX Session were to provide an overview of Oklahoma’s energy industry – its history and future; explore current issues in the energy industry and the impact these are having on the state; and to create a meaningful and memorable graduation experience.

In addition to our gratitude to the local arrangement committee, chaired by Sherri Wilt (LOK Class XXVIII) and assisted by Julie Daniels (LOK Class XXIV), H.J. Reed (LOK Class XII and Lifetime Member), Thad Friedman (LOK Class XXVIII), Jason Hopkins (LOK Class XXVII) and other community volunteers.  We are grateful to the generous sponsors in Bartlesville that made it possible for our goals to be achieved.  Special thanks to ConocoPhillips, Phillips 66, Jane Phillips Medical Center, Arvest, Ambler Architects, Bartlesville Convention & Visitors Bureau, Truity Credit Union, PSO, Sterling’s Grille, Price Tower Arts Center, Ford Drummond (LOK Class XIV and Lifetime Member), Julie Daniels, Woolaroc, OK Mozart,  and Oklahoma Wesleyan University.

We are indebted to all of the local sponsors that made the Adult Class experience extraordinary this year – from Seminole, Lawton-Ft. Sill, Sulphur, McAlester, Oklahoma City, Stillwater, Tulsa, Guymon as well as Bartlesville. Marion and I apologize for not acknowledging their contributions in E-News throughout the year but will do so in our yearend report as well as future editions of E-News. On behalf of Class XXIX and the LOK Board of Directors and staff, thank you to all the business and individuals who have made all of the class sessions so amazing!
